LIFE-SAVING BIBLE TRUTHS
There are some questions in life that we cannot avoid, and dare not
dismiss - some questions that force us to make decisions one way
or the other!
Please read the following, without any pre-conceptions. Try and answer
the questions honestly.
It may well mean the difference between eternal life and death - for YOU!
READ THE FOLLOWING FROM ROMANS 3, verses 10 and 23
"There is none righteous, no, not one."
"For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God."
CAN YOU ACCEPT THAT YOU ARE A SINNER IN GOD'S SIGHT?
READ THE FOLLOWING FROM EPHESIANS 2:8-9 and ISAIAH 64:6 and you will
see that good works cannot help to save you.
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves:
it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast"
"We are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy
CAN YOU ACCEPT THIS?
READ THE FOLLOWING FROM ACTS 17:30-31 and JOHN 3:3 you will find that
it is essential for all men to REPENT of their sin - in other words,
to make a fresh start with God, turning our back upon the past -
'burning our bridges'.
"In the past God overlooked such ignorance, but now He commands all
people everywhere to repent. For He has set a day, when He will judge the
world with justice."
CAN YOU ACCEPT THE NEED FOR YOU TO REPENT?
In verse 31, We find that God is the RIGHTEOUS JUDGE before Whom all
unforgiven sinners shall appear for sentence, and the wages of sin,
we are told in ROMANS 6:23 is DEATH!
It says, "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal
life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
It is contrasted with ETERNAL LIFE so it is not speaking of ordinary
PHYSICAL death, but ETERNAL death, and separation from God!
In ROMANS 14:12 it tells us how that one day, eventually, we must be
answerable to God.
"Every one of us shall give account of himself to God."
CAN YOU ACCEPT THAT YOU ARE IN DANGER WITHOUT CHRIST?
In JOHN 3:16 it tells us HOW MUCH GOD LOVES US! So much that He
sent HIS ONLY SON, to die in our place (see JOHN 3:16, JOHN 15:13, ISAIAH
53:5; and 1 PETER 2:24)
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His Only Begotten Son, that
whosoever believeth in Him, should not perish, but have everlasting life."
"Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his
"He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our
"Who His Own self bare our sins in His Own body on the tree."
CAN YOU ACCEPT THAT GOD LOVES YOU SO MUCH, HE SENT JESUS TO DIE IN
YOUR PLACE BEARING YOUR SIN?
Read ACTS 4:12 and JOHN 14:6 below, and you will see that JESUS IS THE
ONLY WAY OF SALVATION!
"Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name
under heaven, given amongst men, whereby ye must be saved."
"I am the way, the truth and the life, no man cometh unto the Father, but
CAN YOU ACCEPT THAT THERE IS NO OTHER WAY TO BE SAVED APART FROM ASKING
THE LORD JESUS TO COME INTO YOUR LIFE?
Are you then willing, at this moment, to REPENT OF YOUR SIN?
(confess it to God, ask His forgiveness, and turn your back on it?)
Are you willing to receive Jesus into your heart and life, to be YOUR
SAVIOUR, LORD, AND KING, and to let Him rule in YOUR life?
If you are willing, then pray right now! Repent of your sin, and ask Jesus
to come into your heart and life to be your Saviour. If you want help
to pray, then use the prayer below.
Dear Lord Jesus, I know that You love me so much, You died
for me on the cross, bearing my sin. I am so sorry for all
the sin I have committed, and ask you to forgive me, to
become my Saviour, and live in my heart and life. Make me a
new person - inside, and give me the strength to follow You,
and tell others that I now love and serve You.
The following verses will help you find the certainty and assurance of
Salvation. READ 1 JOHN 1:9, ROMANS 10:9, below;
"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our
sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
"If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in
thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."
If you have invited Jesus into your life, please e-mail me and let me
know of your decision, as I would like to provide you with a portion
of Scripture, and some helpful readings. It is also important that you
find a church that is alive, and believes in Salvation through Christ
alone. The worship and fellowship will strengthen and help you. God bless
